It's all about the "ISLAND LIFE"

For me, it's really all about the island life. I too often get asked the same question over and over, "Don't you get bored living on such a tiny island?" My answer is NO. Followed by "What is it that you do in your city or village that's more fun than this little island?"I've had the privilege to grow up on a tiny island called Union Island in St.Vincent & the Grenadines where my entire childhood was spent outdoors, running barefoot, climbing trees, saving animals, collecting shells, drinking coconuts, playing mermaid, making bracelets... You would never believe how starry a sky is until you get to the Caribbean.3. Feeling thirsty ? You can go pick a fresh coconut. There is always a coconut tree nearby ready to quench your thirst. 4. It's Summer all year round. You don't have to own...

MERMAID TREASURES

All Salty Girls love a little treasure hunt on the beach.  It's amazing to feel the calmness it brings when searching the shores for little sea treasures. Hearing the waves crashing against the sand, while your toes sparkle with coral crystals, and your lungs feel with salty ocean breeze, there's just no better feeling. It has always been the first thing I do when arriving at any beach. And my favourite thing to do once there. Since I was a little girl, the excitement of finding the most beautiful shell that day, was my biggest goal. I'd search under rocks, push aside seaweed just to find that shell. Among my treasure hunts as an adult nowadays, I also search for...
